As long as organ transplantation exists, organ trafficking won't stop.
The only way to curb trafficking as good as possible is to completely ban organ transplantation and severely punish anyone who still performs those surgeries AS WELL AS anyone who agrees to receive transplants.
Ofc the very rich will find ways to do it illegally but many people have no idea how shady even legal organ donation is. Many countries have an opt out system, meaning if you don't sign a document stating you do not want your organs to be removed , you automatically are used as a so called donor. Naturally, making any such documents disappear isn't too hard. Another issue is the (intentional) miscommunication of what a brain death actually is. There have been cases of supposedly brain dead individuals not only moving but expressing pain in their face as their organs were removed.

His inability to understand his predicament even today is astonishing, he continues to think US law operates the same as Korean law. And it's biting him in the ass big time. There's one misdemeanor charge that's basically traumatized the shit out of him, the one where he went around the streets carrying a dead fish waving it at people's faces. In the US, he probably wouldn't have gotten charged for that. Punched in the face at worst. In Korea that's harassment and he can't understand how that's a crime lol he later goes on to threaten the judge and his mother with beating them with a fish because he's pissed off
Look into the organ donation Mafia. Luckily Germany has opt in which doesn't stop health insurers from sending people unwanted and highly biased brochures about organ donation that are clearly in favor of donations and openly misrepresent or outright deny crucial facts.
