He was hunting female marines to take creep pics. Cuckeye is clearly a lanji parallel. that's why he's a cook,is shorter then Shanks, had his papa imu raise his bounty etc.
Meanwhile Shiryu is like Zoro, he killed impel down guards like Zoro killed marines at Morgan's island

Nah, Oda Is the first Shanks fan.

They are all going to have their moment before Oda uses them as hype. One of them Is even the father of a mugi, just to say one.

Also I didn't watch Red, but for the general fandom the RHP were probably hyped back then too even outside the manga.
