Anyway... I liked Xebec's look. It's not as intimidating as Kaido, Loki, or Katakuri, but it's a PIRATE look.

Stubble, a big nose, and spiky hair, along with earrings, weren't what we wanted, but it was what Oda saw we needed.

His actual design looks like an AI did it tbh. Or some filler joke villain. His face is identical to Blackbeard too, so it's pretty jarring like Garling and Shanks.

Meanwhile Luffy doesn't resemble Dragon but heavily resembles Roger especially after his redesign too lmao.

If Oda didn't milk Xebecs design for years I'd be a lot less disappointed. Reminds me of how i felt about the "big Udon prisoner reveal", ergh...

Sengoku or some other old legend would’ve acknowledged that he has Rocks D. Xebec’s DF. This is the same reason why the old Roger having the Gomu Gomu theories never made sense
