Why make the Barto Pirates fate unknown while the Kid Pirates are stated to be a totally destroyed, if their fates are the same? Worst case scenario, Barto alone survived and the rest of his crew died, while all of the Kid Pirates are fish food

Because Kid being randomly inserted into the Elbaf arc would be nonsensical at this point and do nothing but make the arc worse, and there’s really no logical way for him to have been rescued yet still not appear in Elbaf atp

The Kid pirates being destroyed means that as a pirate crew, the kid pirates don’t exist anymore. It doesn’t necessarily mean any of them died.

there is no confirmation of Kid’s death so what it means for the Kid pirates to be destroyed is unknown.

imo Kid joining Blackbeard makes the most sense.

Since they don´t have the same plot armor, we could maybe say there was some casualties, but Kidd and Killer won´t be dead.

And he already showed that he had clear intent to kill when he had Dorry and Brogy blow through their ship

I just don’t think it really serves the plot at all. It’s such an unsatisfying way for Kidd’s character to come to a close

He finally gets to do something and dies right after
