Ooooh booooy. I haven't played it as a kid, but always wanted to experience the Carnage helicarrier level. Played through SD two years ago. It's... alright. Really overrated within the fandom. I wouldn't call it good, definitely not. The noir Spidey sections feel so undercooked it's infuriating. 2099 and especially ultimate feel the best to play, but even then it's not extremely engaging.

Some people hype Mysterio as someone who shines in this game (seriously, wtf is this [17:44+] crap, both 90s cartoon and Spectacular have good depictions of him, why choose SD...) when he's barely in the game and not given any gravitas.

The biggest sin of this game is that Spideys interact for literally like a minute at the very end. What were they even thinking by not exploring this bottomless potentiality (I know Edge of Time exists, haven't played it yet).

Oof, glad I never got to play it then...I only saw the walkthroughs, loved them though.

EOT is a sequel, I think, only had two of the four SD Spideys. It also had Anti-Venom as a villain, I think.
