Anyone thinking Teach has some grudge against anyone is being silly. Even against Garling or celestial dragons in general. Bad things happened to him in his childhood, but he isn´t some anime emo dude. He had a father figure who took him in, gave him good memories, friends, connections etc and he betrayed them all for the fun of it.
