I just think, imo, the ship kinda sailed.

We know that Marine base was close to Pirate Island and Egghead. Sword and Tashigi went to Pirate Island within a day, and we know Doll was picked up by Kizaru by the following day to Egghead.

It took multiple days to go from Egghead to Elbaf, which to me means Pirate Island is already behind the crew. But again, its just how I see it because Oda has drawn that island fully on multiple occasions and now we are seeing it again in this Flashback lol.

Isn’t Hachinosu further ahead in the New World than Elbaf? Law picked the route to Hachinosu at the end of Wano because that one sails directly further into the New World, while Egghead is on the same longitude as Wano, and Elbaf was between the two

They were picking based on the log pose directions, not necessarily the island names. Law ended up on Winner Island, which BB scoped out ahead of time as one of the post-Wano places to go.

You're right in that Elbaf (East) isn't the furthest out though. Hachinosu presumably is near Egghead so somewhere around that South East bend.

The grandline map is so confusing.

This is no different than shanks and rogers swordsmanship. Roger attacks oden and….. sends him flying using his ryou/intent to not cut oden. Shanks attacks Kidd, he chooses to not cut Kidd but with the same instrument he cuts through the steel rail gun. This Is exactly what kyoshiro explains to Zoro as a kid.

The only time he was ever even implied to be that was in a color page created before Kuzan’s reveal as a BBP commander.

Kuzan is clearly a more important member of the crew. Teach credited him the most with capturing Garp.

Bruh come on some common sense.. Luffy first usage of a massive power up AdCoC is not going to be used in tandem with CoA Barrier on it's reveal.. The whole chapter was to focus on AdCoC.. Seems pointless too, there would 2 layers, they don't fuse together.. lol

Shiryu was introduced in the exact same way that Zoro was, and him weakening Garp allowed them to capture him in the first place
