Great chapter. Oda was even more specific about Rocks' skull design on his jolly roger, including that one specific swirl in it. I really wonder what that's about.

Also, Loki's fixation specifically on "the world" seems less nefarious as him being into Rocks plan of conquering the world. I reckon it's more about Loki simply wanting to escape from his island of isolation and hate than it is about taking over everything. It was his first exposure to humans so seeing a new perspective after his shit ass upbringing was probably refreshing. Don't deny that he does seem slightly interested in overwhelming others thowever.
Fully agree, thats like a better Yamato type

Damn King Harald was a beast, him clashing with Rocks wasn't on my bingo card

The Hype train for Rocks is off charts, the flashback keeps on getting better ( How did Roger beat this monster)

Now we know why Imu has a picture of Blackbeard alongside Shirahoshi and Luffy

I thinki this chapter confirms davy back fights are coming back.in the future

The power scalers gonna have a field day finding out Rocks was a swordsmen lol

bakkin is the nami of the rocks pirates. she was probably quite strong, but now has an old hag, she would make for a fair foe for the strawhat navigator.
Shut up dude, nobody cares about what you say, just shut up you are quite annoying

I like how Oda didn't make Teach a perfect copy of Xebec, they have similarities, but they're different in many ways.

Xebec was ambitious and charismatic, stronger than Teach, but not nearly as intelligent or patient, his answer to everything was to brute force his way to victory.

Teach is equally as ambitious, but he's not as powerful as Xebec, however due to his far superior planning and more cautious nature, he'll eventually become more powerful than Xebec.

THAT canon bible doesn't exist in OP world
Au contraire, Kuma waddled around with his Good Book always, as any good God fearing man should.

Agreed on the differences in their appeal, though I don't think Teach is as cautious as you think. Remember when Augur chided him for charging into the fight with Law only half-ready?
If anything I think Blackbeard leaves things to fate almost as much as Luffy does.

He's willing to take risks, but only when the odds are in his favor, Xebec just charges in and reacts on the fly.

So much for BB will go down before IMU lol

That panel of Xebec sitting in garden in front of IMU - is one of the best drawn panel in one piece....simple but so much aura and badass.

Xebec hype
BB hype
Shanks agenda destroyed

This chapter is fuckn goldmine for me kek...
Bruh, I was thinking the same thing, guy walked into the most sacred part of the holy lands and casually threatened the hidden ruler of the world, but it also added scaling to Imu, if a casual admiral killer knew he was out of his depth then Imu is on a whole other level and it places number 1 in most powerful list (although, I think that was a given).

So friggin hyped, we live in a time where Oda has revealed Rocks :,)

Yeah definitely is a big cunning planner type, I just think he doesn't really care to setup a plan B if his plan A goes awry and is more of a "fuck it, we ball" type.
Something like that, for example Law surprised him with awakening, but he wasn't worried because he knew how much stronger he is than Law, he was still smiling even if he didn't expect awakening at all.

Let's say the holes in his plans are blocked out by being over prepared in other parts of his plan.

Bruh, I genuinely don't care about Kaido, the dude is so insignificant now that we see the true monsters of the verse. Kaido ain't shit, his boss was on a whole other level. Harald would have dealt with Kaido too.

Rocks is what Roger isnt.. seriously what other D clan do what Rocks is doing ? he make all the other D's look like teddy bear's the dude is wild and ambitious he truly is aiming to bring the world to its knees.

Hmm idk i think Roger might be just as vicious he did kill poor Squardo's entire crew πŸ˜”

Literally none of these people have shown anything on panel to put them over Kaido.

Blackbeard being the final villain doesn't seem so farfetched anymore. The only problem is that his crew, bar Kuzan, is definitely not up to the task
That's not the "only problem". That's THE problem.

This is why I think Oda will bring all the Yonkos into play. BB's crew is dogshit.

I like this a lot.

I think Imu used Uranus against Rocks, and destroyed God Valley, but some chunks of it popping up makes sense.

Also, if Rocks had the Ope Ope no Mi, possible he just cut up the island.

We never saw God Valley's capital, did we? Moria's castle was very extensive and elaborate, it could very well be God Valley's castle.
Stop with the Ope Ope stupid theory, he did not have it full stop
