Oda being so deadset on making Wano an arc about creatures and great pirates instead of samurai that he made Zoro´s fight in that arc imply he wasn´t a swordman is genuinely bizarre.
How hard would it have been to make a scene where it´s implied King studied swordmanship while in Wano and killed a damiyo or something. Or at least he could drop the whole scene where King says he´s a brute all together.

Bruh weapons were literally banned in the game Zoro was playing in the Davy Back Fight. All the other examples you gave are Zoro fighting people not even at 1% of his strength
