  • Luffy vs Blackbeard
• Zoro vs Nasujuro (Second Last)
  • Luffy vs Imu / One of the Gorosei
• Zoro vs Mihawk (Final Match)
  • Luffy vs Who?

When Zoro fights Nasujuro , Luffy is more likely to fight Another Gorosei or Akainu. But Who exactly?

And during Zoro vs Mihawk , maybe Luffy vs Imu.

But Gorosei and Imu should be going down in the same arc.

Which leaves us with Zoro vs Mihawk , where Luffy has no one to fight.

Akainu- I think that fight belongs to Sabo, not only will it allow Sabo to carry on Aces will the brother of Ace and Luffy avenging what they went through when he couldn't lift a finger because he had no idea he even knew them would be cinematic brilliance especially after Akainu's quip of lava burns higher than fire that could push Sabo into awakening and maybe we'll see a flame color hotter than magma

BB- I've been on this Hill for a year and a half now, that is 100% Koby's fight the two of them have been intersecting for a long time now and pretty much every major incident bb has been involved in Koby was there i dont think strawhats fight Blackbeard at all

Other than RHP , no other scenario makes sense when Zoro fights Mihawk.

And while it can be cool concept, imo it's unlikely oda will only focus on Zoro going in his adventure to defeat mihawk.

So Zoro surpassing Mihawk while SHs surpassing RHPs makes most sense to me.

🤔 the introduction of Shamrock doesn't take the chance that Shanks is somewhat loyal to his family off the table plus even before Traitor Shanks was a thing i thought they would at least have a friendly bout just a fight to see which crew is stronger doesn't necessarily have to be life or death

Oda will never have Zoro defeat an opponent stronger than Luffy's arc fight in the same arc, so the only way this works is if Shanks > Mihawk

If it's all clean 1v1s until the end, I think Zoro vs Mihawk will probably be a duel that's outside of the crew fight dynamic (mentor/apprentice relationship + too much mutual respect as swordsman for it be a generic pirate fight), assuming nothing happens to Mihawk in the meanwhile like dying to somebody else, which I know sword diddlers are averse to even engaging with the thought of. So if they do battle, I almost expect it to be post-One Piece discovery or adjacent to the final race for it.

Imu, Blackbeard, and Akainu are easy but boring answers for Luffy. I don't rule out he has to fight Shanks to beat him for the One Piece. Buggy is a meme. Crocodile would be such a forced interaction for the sake of it I can't take it seriously. But other than that...I mean who the fuck else is going to post a threat to him? The Gorosharts? The Holy Knobbers? Once the regen is bypassed I'll not be taking them seriously save for Shamrocks/Garling because of the Shanks connection but I'd be shocked if it isn't just Imu instead of them. He could fight another Admiral, but like, why not just post him against Akainu at that point.

My real crackpot theory that I'll run with for a while is that the final One Piece chase will be a battle royale with everyone involved and you're not going to get clean 1v1s. Lots of chipping at each other in a yarn ball battle. Buggy might win out just by roaching to the One Piece lol. So that would be my answer while Zoro fights Mihawk (in a non-duel setting). Luffy would be in a free-for-all with the other yonko.
