Theory One Piece will still not be concluded in 10 years

That's 11 years, so you agreed with the OP.
It depends of the pacing on the final war, it could be a Wano (149 chapters) or a Marineford (31 chapters)

Wano took a long time because it was nearly 100 chapters of lore and time-wasting, and 50 of fights. If the final war is pure war like Marine Ford (with more characters, obviously), then it might end much sooner.

Why not though?

Oda significantly progressed the story with Egghead (roughly 70 chapters) and since there should only be two more arcs after Elbaf, Oda could conclude everything in a similar set of chapters per arc.

So probably 3/4 more years post-Elbaf.

If oda rushes to final war after this. It's gg for all agenda lol.

Because frankly people are creating their own arcs for their agenda.
Lode star for Blackbeard
Mariejois for Imu
And some arc for akainu. Lol

If final war starts in the next arc. It's over for every agenda

Tbh, I don't think BB will have his own arc. Neither is Shanks or Cross Guild.
The final race for the OP should be an all out war against The Man Marked by Flames for the last poneglyph.

BB's crew is linked to Shanks' crew and Shanks is linked to Buggy, and Buggy is Luffy parallel. So it would be weird for BB to have an arc with Luffy exclusive when he's actively looking for the man marked by flames, Imu, Shanks...

I give it 6-7 years honestly

Elbaf has at least a year left (roughly) and we get at least one more arc before the final one imo

Actually depending on the length of the flashback we could be out of Elbaf before 2027. We might not get full fights so it could wrap up fairly quickly if that’s the case

The next arc would probably span 1-2 years

Then the final arc would (hopefully) be slightly shorter than Wano

I think there won't be a "Mary Geoise" arc like some people wish it were the case.

That arc is nothing else than the "around the world" events that happen between the arcs.

It started with Alabasta or so and then we got the thing with Lafitte proposing Teach as new Shichibukai. Across 1000 chapters it all concluded into the Reverie and now the current events.

This section of the story is about to conclude imho.
We will soon learn more lore and we already see Imu and the Holy Knights moving out.

Imho after Elbaf or during Elbaf we will clear up the whole Road Poneglyph thing and that's it. The next destination is Lough Tale and EoS.

That's why I think Elbaf will take a little longer for us, because everything that Teach has to do before going to Lough Tale, like actually utilizing Caribou's info, taking down Imu etc...that's all happening before Lough Tale probably.

So imho Oda is following a 3 arc structure for the final saga. A three-point-plan.

Egghead - Elbaf - Lough Tale

And that's probably also the most popular theory rn when I am looking around across the communities.

Edit: so probably 5 years at max I feel.

5 years doesn't even cover the Final War, let alone the One Piece discovery, AK story, and proper focus on both IMU and BB.
elbaf is mostly over (10 more chapters)
then we have new marineford war (40 chapters) originial marineford war was only 31 chapters
moon arc (15 chapters)
battle gainst bb (40 chapters)
laughtale (20 chapters)
maryjoa raid (50 chapters)
loguetown epilogue (5 chapters)
around 180 chapters, maybe 5 years and 2 months.

He might be wrapping up the story because remember the Levely arc ended, which happened in between the Yonko arcs.

We got the revos in the Levely arc, and Aramaki around the end of Wano.

All we need is the whirlpool man and Imu’s face to unlock all silhouettes.

There’s more DF powers to reveal, but those don’t take up space.

Levely arc is all about Vivi, that could lead up to her joining the crew at the end, or have something to do with Pluton(latter more likely).
