Powers & Abilities Ideas for Scent Scent Fruit

#1
How do you think the idea of a Scent Scent Fruit would work? What could you do with it?

Specifically, it grants the ability to create scents. It will not create the other harmful effects associated with material that produces scent, like poisoning, but it can induce possibly hallucinations.

Is this something Hancock could use if she didn't use the Love Love Fruit?

Two possible useful applications of the hypothetical Scent Fruit could be reviving fainted allies using the smell of smelling salts and tracking targets based on their unique scent.

A Hancock-type character could use it to induce attraction through pheromone release.

Ya that's right additionally this fruit should allow people to have enhanced sensory applications as well as scent production applications

Potentially, a skilled user could do something like sense emotions that create specific scents and predict people's movement (Observation Haki) assuming sight and smell can both be used for it

It would be cool to see this because they wouldn't need to use their eyes to predict movement (they already do this, but it would be even greater prediction)

This was also great timing for this post... Lol... It's a good time to discuss Hancock-like characters and fruits they could have used or would be good with

Could be great for concealment and misdirection. Like creating scents to mask your presence, generating the scent of a monster around an area to get people to leave it alone.

At peak power you could use it to stun and control others. Awakening could allow you to completely remove, reassign scents, and create new scents.

Maybe even create scents that inanimate/smell-less entities can perceive, thus providing those things sentience and turning them into your slave.

E.g. Generate a special charred scent that causes the rocks in the area to turn into magma monsters.

You could also amp your own sensitivity to scents to the point where you can fight blind and possess perfect understanding of surroundings through smell alone, maybe.

Mind control can probably occur with the scent fruit maybe ...

Almost the same way the Love fruit does

It forces [Fealty]. That's also how it could be described in Hunter X Hunter lol

There will ofc be limits to this fruit somehow like you have to actually touch somebody to change their scent or whatever specifics there could be but we're just brainstorming here there are no dumb ideas

Shakuyaku always seemed to have a thing for Rayleigh because she's always hanging out with him... she does it in many chapters... lol so don't say I spoiled anything... She could've used that fruit on him

Or she could've smelled him and been like "Damn, I know all men's scents and I like yours ❤️❤️❤️"

That could make sense for Love Sickness stories with her. She could explain she has an enhanced scent ability and that it became challenging for her to deal with Rayleigh's presence due to his scent, but also that she couldn't stay away from it lol

Rayleigh is saying "The scent of this wine is immaculate, beautiful, like you."

And she's going "Oh, Rayleigh, you know I don't have a Devil Fruit or enhanced senses. That's still very sweet of you."
