Even if you still believe Shiki = Roger somehow, there’s no good reason why the Roger Pirates would be losing to the Golden Lion Pirates when they having fucking Ray and Gaban also on their side. I don’t care that Shiki had like 50 ships with him. Cannon barrages haven’t mattered since East Blue, so Shiki outnumbering the Roger Pirates is irrelevant. Ray and Gaban could make quick work of Shiki’s fleet of fodders if they were going all out
