Xebec recognised he didn't have what he needed to take Imu's place.

Blackbeard spent decades looking for the Yami DF.

It seems pretty telegraphed to me Xebec was after it as well.

Perhaps the Fruit was reborn after he died.

I also think whatever DF is only Elbaph may have the ability to resurrect the dead, but I'm still working out the details.

Lokis DF/The Fruit of Elbaf is already confirmed
as for the other one

Yami, Nika, Other DF are my gueses
The first 2 are the ones that been potrayed as elusive in the story. While Ope is also a legendary fruit 2 thing goes against that
A) It was used in the Cora flashback, seems to unimportant and also not enough gravitas being traded by goons
B) BB contemplated about selling the fruit. If that was his goal (which, his plans are made even before ts) that line seems cap

I think the prizes were one of the 2 DFs so one is either the Kuma or Kaidos DF (I think Kaidos unless Kumas has some super broken awakening) and the other is Lokis DF (might be Nika since there is a possibility of it being Nikas).
The Gorosei have said that Nika DF always escaped them so there is a chance that the Elbaf DF is not the Nika DF since the Elbaf DF seems have been passed down the royal blood line.

The first fruit is Gomu Gomu, aka Nika fruit, is the treasure of Elbaf.
Shanks being there when Harald died maybe indicates he knows about it, and is probably why he stole it years later from the WG, and why he gave his arm to protect the new vessel of the fruit and not have it reincarnate somewhere where it could fall in the hands of the WG.
Maybe the OG Nika (not JoyBoy) is supposed to be an ancient giant, which is why the fruit is better utilized by a giant with ancient giant blood like Harald or Loki.

The other fruit Xebec wants is likely the Yami Yami fruit.
Teach taking drastic measures to get it indicates it is far more important than we know.

The way he worded it could mean 1 of 3 things

Either 1. the fruit can only be used to it's full potential if wielded by an ancient giant, 2. It can only be wielded by the King of Elbaf/a member of the royal line, or 3. Harald's personality would allow him to awaken it

If it's 2 or 3 then it's guaranteed to be a zoan. If it's 1 then there's a chance it could be a logia

This might not mean anything but it feels like it's foreshadowing that we'll eventually see how cracked a giant with a logia would be

I'm leaning towards it not being the Nika fruit because Harald specifically having to eat it wouldn't really make any sense to me. Why would Harald have to eat it? He's not a D, he doesn't have the Strawhat, and as far as we know Joyboy wasn't a giant either. There's nothing we've seen from the fruit that would require Harald

The 2nd fruit is clearly the Yami fruit imo

Joyboy is not the original Nika, he is just a DF user like Luffy.
The history of this world doesn't begin 800 years ago.
For all we know even Joyboy wasn't wielding it to its full potential.

Luffy isn't a giant either

Would that mean Luffy can never use the fruit to it's fullest potential? No

The Nika fruit doesn't seem to require a specific race or heritage or anything (that we know of)

So unless Rocks was mistaken (which I doubt) whatever fruit he's speaking of benefits specifically from one of those things

Why not? We don't even know that for sure.

Maybe if it's eaten and awakened by an ancient giant, it can lead to even crazier abilities and with little to no drawbacks unlike Luffy who has a mandatory cooldown period for Gear 5.

It is the only devil fruit that makes sense to be Elbaf's national treasure with how much their traditions, culture and history mentions Nika.

That would defeat the purpose of Luffy eating and later mastering the fruit

He’s supposed to represent the peak of the fruits abilities. The perfect user for it

Not saying what you’re saying is completely impossible but I don’t think that’s what Oda’s going for here

Not to mention that brings up a lot of questions with potentially weird answers. Like if Loki didn’t actually eat the fruit (obviously cause Luffy ate it) then what fruit did Loki eat? How did it get there?
