I think Oda has a style that balances sexy and fun, and it fits the manga. His "beautiful" characters look the same mostly, but I think its intentional and kinda a running joke at this point.

Fck me! Some Japanese Youtubers are theorizing that the "Rocks Pirates Treasure" everyone fought over on God Valley was Shakuyaku and they make some good points but I really hope not lol
Imagine waiting all that time for God Valley and find out all of those big names fought over fcking pumpum and in Roger's case imagine, fighting over that pumpum and still losing out to Ray who wasn't even interested.

I'm not gonna lie if this shit actually happens some characters are finished in my eyes, particularly Roger.
At least in Rocks case, you could make a case for him fighting to get back what was stolen from him from a pride stand point.
But Roger is honestly finished if Oda goes this route and him beating Rocks in 1 v 1 is not gonna salvage this L.

Im not a fan of it myself but i can see where the logic comes from, there is a throughline in the arc

The only thing that is not fitting is that Movie Red booklet that oda drawn. I dont have it infront of me but Roger and the rest left satisfied and said "we took all their stuff" or something to that extent so we will see
Its intressting to begin with why Roger was there, as Rocks seems to be there beccause of the DFs but none of Roger and his mainfighters had to seem intresst in a DF
