Without actual stats provided, this match can go either way.

Yoko Yoko easily handled the recent arc version of Shin in a glaive battle and, as @Elder Lee Hung mentioned, held off both Tou and Rokuomi at the same time. These are two feats somewhat back up the claim of his strength rivalling that of Gai Mou.

Doesn't feel like Shin progressed at all since Shukai. 6 years later with mastered glaive wielding bro still needs to clench his butt cheeks to take out another one of these Gaimou analogs.

Maybe he’ll get a one- or two-point increase in his Strength stat. He’s still getting stronger, but reaching even Duke Hyou’s level of strength somehow requires Shin to endure so much.

His abilities grew faster than a dandelion after a rainy season during the first 400 chapters, too.
