Emboar, Scolipede, Excadril, Chesnaught, Frosslass, Drampa-Out of all these, I think these are my favorites. I like Emboar more than most people seem to, and fire is so useful to have around early game, that I'm kind of leaning towards Tepig as my starter. It kind of depends on if anyone's type changes, though. I could see Mega Meganium being a good choice. Scolipede just looks cool in grey and blue. Excadril has some real potential. Especially if it has some "burning" effects on it's armor like it looks like it could. And Mega Chesnaught the Warrior King just looks like the best of the secondary starters, to me. I like Frosslass's "demon" look. And the black look on Drampa looks good. I could actually see this ending up as my team in-game.
Scrafty-This could be interesting. I think they might be going for a "camouflage" look, like a chameleon. So, if the "white" parts are actually see-through, I think this could be a unique design.
Dragonite-You know what? It's growing on me! I could actually see this ending up on my team, if it's in the game earlier than Drampa is.
Hawlucha-So, they're going for more of a "heel" wrestler thing, with a darker color scheme? It's shiny already does that arguably better. But, this isn't bad, I guess.
Falinks-It's a little goofy. But, I do appreciate our Pokemon-Voltron. I just wish it looked a little cooler. I guess it still could, depending on the proportions.
Elektross-I want to see more. I'm not sure if I "get" the design, yet.
Delphox-So, it just gets a witch's hat and a few extra brooms? Well, it could be okay.
Greninja-So, it's just regular Greninja...only upside down? It's still probably going to be the technical "best" choice, but I think Chesnaught looks more interesting.
Starmie-Why? Just...why? Hopefully, it looks better in-game. But, I'm not holding out much hope.
Pyroar-This looks the same to me. I guess the idea is the mane is larger and probably more fire-like? Still, it seems a little underwhelming at the moment. Hopefully, it looks more interesting in-game.
Zygarde-I saved this for last because this is kind of interesting. It's got a giant cannon...with Mega Floette as it's "bullet"?! Okay, so...maybe we won't be able to catch Az's Eternal Floette in this game, after all. It might be sacrificing itself to stop...something from happening.
I am a little surprised that Deoxys isn't getting one of the new Mega Evolutions, though. I thought that ORAS kinda-sorta confirmed Deoxys as the "source" Pokemon for Mega Evolution. The same way Necrozma is for Z Moves, Eternatus is for Dynamax, and Terapagos is for Tera. It would have made sense to give Deoxys a new form, if it actually the "source" of Mega Evolution. Maybe for the DLC?
