how could the right hand man of the pirate king and a character thats been in the story since the east blue get less focus on their lineage than Gecko Moria?
I agree that it should have been shown in wano arc but it is most likely because his one is full of eos lore like Luffy who we still don't know much about.

Just like Baratie Sanji who we didn't knew until 700 chapters later in wholecake island purely because of big mom and the vinsmokes. The justification for lack of Zoro's backstory would be because of Nusjuro/cursed kitetsu and Mihawk/black blade.

Nothing was revealed about Moria yet. We just saw a pic with his name on it,but we have yet to understand what its all about. Its just that the fandom, like always, already wrote their fanfiction about it and pretend its canon

Zoro's backstory is simply just not important to his character outside of what we saw with Kuina, that's all.

If there's something in there that ever does become important, we'll see it.

Gecko Shimotsuki Moria is Zoro's uncle. Revealed in next One Piece magazine. Both swordsmen with weird hair color. Zoro's real name is Gecko Zoro.
Both of them share a 320 mil bounty at some point.

The state of this manga is insane, how could the right hand man of the pirate king and a character thats been in the story since the east blue get less focus on their lineage than Gecko Moria?

Side character fans are you happy with the shitshow this manga has turned into to entertain your two braincells?
Priority among secondary irrelevant characters to the plot.
None of them relevant in the grand scheme of things, hence why they are not in the one piece spread.

It s like if you had gaimon there

It's because Zoro's not Luffy. He's not meant to be strong because he has a strong dad, grandfather, and eat a magical dinner food that gives them magical powers.

Zoro is designed to be strong because of hard work, determination, strong willpower, and some talent. Zoro's parents are just ordering people and his mother is a descendant of Ryuma.

Where Moria comes from doesnt affect the plot either, the kozuki were all irrelevant

In thebsame post you says he's not meant to be strong for his lineage, but he is also the descendant of who some call the sword god.
Also, how is it hard work when he is given a legendary black sword of which only 3 exist in the world so far?
Or when he was gifted a magic sword with the haki of a real talented swordsman?
Or when he uses a cursed sword?
