For whatever reason, the SBS didn't mention every member of the crew, Marx, Sunbell,Shanks, Buggy and Oden, the Roger pirate

Okay Marx/marks was drawn, but Oda did say only the important members, and Oden only joined at the end.

Cope. If Oden was a full-fledged member, he'd be an important one. He wasn't drawn because he's not a full-fledged member. I mean come on dude, you really think Oda went out of his way to draw 20 irrelevant fodders, but forgot about Oden (also why are Inu and Neko conveniently not included)?

Didn't Oda forget to draw the gears right or something in an actual chapter? I think it's possible he just ended up drawing the Roger pirates he created in his head 20 years ago for an SBS. It doesn't change the fact that Oden is obviously a member of the crew in the manga, since he tried getting Franky to join and reached Laughtale. Inu and Neku weren't at Laughtale, so I don't think they really count

WB only let Oden go on the condition that he returns after Roger finds LT. He was a rental. Only reason he didn't go back to the WBPs is because of the trouble in Wano

WB and Roger never made an actual agreement though, that was just an offer. Oden just chose to leave, and the idea that he was planning on returning to the WBP after the Wano shit is over seems a bit silly. He didn't even try to contact them, and do you actually think he would have abandoned his family to go sail with the WBP again? Nah, he just left the WBP, and when the Roger pirates dissolved, he wasn't really in any crew
