Hey, I want to copy paste the ending text from Half Life Alyx here, this is a spoiler so if you don't want to be spoiled about Half Life Alyx's ending then don't read it.
I want to share it here because it's pretty cool and in my opinion it's one of the best game experiences you can have in modern gaming, if you play it in VR
[Alyx is in a dark room. The G-Man starts talking.]
G-Man: Impressive work, Ms. Vance.
Alyx: Gordon... Freeman?
G-Man: Gordon... Freeman? (Chuckles) Ms. Vance. You wouldn't need ALL THAT to imprison Gordon Freeman.
Alyx: Then... who are you?
G-Man: Perhaps what I am, is not as important as what I can offer you in exchange for coming all this way. Some believe the fate of our worlds is... inflexible. My employers disagree. They authorize me to... "Nudge" (Heh) things, in a particular direction from time to time. What would YOU want nudged, Ms. Vance?
Alyx: The... Combine off Earth. I want the Combine off Earth!
G-Man: Ah. That would be a considerably large nudge. Too large, given the interests of my employers.
Alyx: Well, you asked.
G-Man: What if I could offer you something you DON'T know you want?
[Alyx touches the G-Man's briefcase, both are transported to Episode 2's ending. Future Alyx is crying over future Eli's corpse.]
Alyx: ...Dad? DAD?! WHAT IS THIS?! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!
G-Man: We are in the future. This is the moment where you watch your father die. Unless...
Alyx: Unless what? UNLESS WHAT?!
G-Man: ...Unless YOU were to take matters into your own hands.
[Suddenly, the scene reverts back to when Eli is still in the Advisor's hands.]
G-Man: Release your father, Ms. Vance.
[Alyx uses Vortigaunt energy to kill the Advisor.]
G-Man: Good. As a consequence of your action, this entity will continue, and this entity will not.
Alyx: Right. So, he's okay, right? My dad lives.
G-Man: You are aware, that you've proven yourself to be of extraordinary value. A previous hire has been unable... or unwilling... to perform the tasks laid before him. [G-Man shows Alyx a crowbar.] We have struggled to find a suitable replacement... Until now.
Alyx: No! I just wanna go home. Send me home!
G-Man: I'm afraid... you misunderstand the situation, Ms. Vance.
Alyx: Wait. Hey, wait! WAIT! WAIT!!
[SUBJECT: ALYX VANCE. STATUS: HIRED. AWAITING ASSIGNMENT.]
[The credits roll.]
HEV: (Beeps, sounds of morphine being injected) WARNING, VITAL SIGNS CRITICAL. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
[Gordon's breathing can be heard.]
Eli: Gordon, Gordon! Wake up, Gordon!
[Gordon wakes up back at White Forest's helipad.]
Eli: She's gone Gordon. She's gone. THAT MAN AND HIS "UNFORESEEN CONSEQUENCES"! I knew it! When I get my hands on him, I'm gonna...
[DOG leaps out from the rooftop, inspecting the area.]
Eli: I'm gonna defeat him. I've got to figure this out, right now...
[DOG hands Eli the Ep2 crowbar.]
Eli: Come on Gordon. We've got work to do.
