Also matchups wise for the Roger Pirates, although Shiki would've been pretty good hype for Ray, narrative-wise it's gotta be the snake Ouchoku surely. Can still see Gaban v Silver Axe though would be odd if the two of the most famous axe users of the old gen aren't matched against each other.

I'm going to let you think about how different Imu + 5 Gorosei and Gunko vs rookie Rocks on his own is from prime Rocks and his crew vs like 8 Holy Knights with only one or maybe two at most being top tiers.

Hope he's redeemed like Rocks was with a Rogue revelation or sumin but won't hold my breathe.
No other reason for Roger to have dislike Rocks so much but Shakky.

Definitely one of my least favorite characters in this FB
But for the fact that he's "Roger" he hasn't really been great in this flashback

there's a reason ray avoided shakky for so long and goes out for months on his own to smash other women

Shiki should be the minimum for someone of Rays caliber. Ouchoku is likely nothing but a simple veteran, no way that snake is VC-level. He aint even top 5 in Xebecs crew.

And we also know that Ouchoku made it out well with Beehive and all.
