Controversial Don't watch Film Red with non OP watchers

not a friendly movie to non-fans, too much color and random ppl appearing left and right.
i was watching this with my family after kpop demon hunters
its actually so bad. the premise in this movie was so simple yet the fight sequences were seizure inducingly bad at how light all the colors were.

the amount of times i had to tell them what was going on...

in your opinion what one piece movie is the most non fan friendly AND good overall?

Red was actually so bad plot wise now that i think about it. like the whole movie was on a boat doing jack shit. Agreed Film Z and Gold might've been a better choice. My little brother assumed because both Kpop demon hunters and Film Red were about idols and singers it'd be good for the rest of the family as well...

Yeah it was actually horribly paced. But at least unlike Film Z there wasnt the pedo sanji moment with nami lmao. nah jk, Sanji just like me forreal.
Film Z is so much better its not even close.
I will say though that the latest One Piece movie should be around the corner right? Its been a while now. I hope we get a new OP movie, and its actually fire.

Both have their highs and lows. The Red movie was good for the most part until the final confrontation — the color show was due to Uta herself, after all. But I still liked the Red movie more than the Stampede movie.

I didn’t like how Bullet was defeated.

At that time I thought it was an interesting way to show characters moving at super high speed.
Big mistake, now everything is that disgusting animation style.

OP anime overdoes it way too much, even when characters aren't moving that fast. Hate that shit so much. The squiggly animation is the main reason I dropped the OP anime, with the aura overload and blocks for rubble (every environmental destruction is just stuff exploding into cuboid blocks now WTF) being other contribution factors
