and the solution to that is automation, which is exactly the push for companies like waymo, once again there is a recognition to get these things under control it needs to be taken out of the hands of the average human being.


as for guns there isnt that immediate necessity so what sensible countries did is enforce gun control laws. am sorry but with all due respect to the countries you mentioned, they have to contend with much bigger problem than gun contol and they do. not have the resources to fix those . The strongest economy in our present time does not have shortage of resources, does not have a unique human problem that people in japan, canada, australia etc dont have.

Bro, if you want to go down that road, I can argue like an ass too. Guns are a necessity for SECURITY. The right to safety/protection is a human right. How are you going to have those with the proper tools? Nobody needs a car until they need to quickly take their loved ones to the hospital. Nobody needs a fire extinguisher until their house is on fire. Nobody needs a safety vest/parachute until their boat/aircraft goes down. In the same manner nobody needs a gun until they have a maniac trying to kill them or the Gestapo knocking on their door to take them to a concentration camp. There are around half a million and 3 million defensive gun uses every year in America. How many people do you think would have been murdered in America these past few years without the 2A? Authorities are doing a lousy job at preventing gang crime, evil and lunacy. Pipe dream of fixing people? You are the one who has such notions. I want my gun rights respected because I know people are fucking evil EVERYWHERE AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. You are probably from a first-world country. I would let you know that your society (and any other) would collapse if a crisis were to break out and there was no police or military around to keep criminal activity in check. Yes I'm sad that a young father of a 3 and 1 year old was killed, and yes I do feel sad for other innocent lives that are taken as well regardless of views.

I would never be happy or celebrate someone else's death unless that person has committed a severe crime.
