Here’s a rundown of the 10 characters that generate the most heated, never-ending discussions on WorstGen Forums (a large One Piece–focused community). The list is based on long-standing thread counts, recurring debates, and how often these characters spark “power-scaling wars” and controversial takes:

1. Kaido

Why debated: “Strongest creature” hype, Flame Dragon Torch feats, comparisons to Roger/Whitebeard, and the question of whether Luffy truly beat him 1-on-1.
Typical arguments: “Is Kaido still strongest post-defeat?” vs. “Admirals > Yonko.”

2. Monkey D. Luffy

Why debated: Gear 5’s reality-warping powers, Joy Boy status, and whether he already sits at Pirate King/Top Tier level.
Typical arguments: “Luffy > all Yonko already?” vs. “Still needs endgame growth.”

3. Admirals (Akainu, Kizaru, Aokiji)

Why debated: Admiral vs. Yonko power scaling is the forum’s single most persistent war.
Typical arguments: “Akainu > Kaido,” “Kizaru vs. Gear 5,” “Greenbull feats were underrated.”

4. Blackbeard (Marshall D. Teach)

Why debated: Yami + Gura combos, “endgame final boss” theories, and how his durability stacks up.
Typical arguments: “Teach is already strongest” vs. “He still needs a third fruit.”

Why debated: His mysterious power level, one-armed supremacy, and the “Yonko portrayal vs. feats” debate.
Typical arguments: “Shanks > Mihawk,” “Shanks vs. Blackbeard outcome,” “Is his CoC the strongest?”

6. Mihawk

Why debated: Title of “World’s Strongest Swordsman,” Zoro’s end goal, and whether he’s above Yonko level.
Typical arguments: “Mihawk > Shanks” vs. “Shanks’ Haki > Mihawk’s sword.”

7. Zoro

Why debated: “Zoro vs. Luffy” internal rivalry, King fight feats, and constant “Admiral-level already?” claims.
Typical arguments: “Zoro > Luffy at Wano,” “Zoro can cut Kaido solo.”

8. Big Mom (Charlotte Linlin)

Why debated: Inconsistencies in her portrayal—terrifying power vs. comedic losses.

Typical arguments: “Sanji > Zoro endgame?” vs. “Still YC2 level.”

10. Gol D. Roger & Rocks D. Xebec (tie)

Why debated:

  • Roger: Whether he truly outclasses all Yonko/Admirals or if “prime Whitebeard = Roger.”
  • Rocks: Pure speculation—what his true power was, and whether he was stronger than Kaido/Whitebeard combo.

lmao this is so fucking biased lol. I am 100% sure that you made the ai put out results with kaido as no 1

worstgen forums is built on Lanji Vs Zolo and Shank vs Mohawk debates

Kaido ain't even close

From what I dug up, Roronoa Zoro is very likely the most debated / discussed One Piece character on the Worstgen forum. Several pieces of evidence point in that direction:

Key Evidence

  1. Thread activity & mentions
    • There’s a fanclub thread called Temple of The Grandmaster Zoro with tens of thousands of replies. Worstgen+1
    • Many threads are about comparing Zoro to Luffy — “Proof Zoro > Luffy,” “Luffy vs Zoro,” etc. Worstgen+2Worstgen+2
  2. Polarising opinions & heated debates
    • Posts like “Proof Zoro > Luffy, and that hate against Zoro is at an all time high” show how emotionally invested people get when discussing Zoro’s status. Worstgen
    • The thread “I’m Taking a Break … reactions to Zoro blocking Hakai …” shows heated disagreement and downplay from fans in the face of certain feats. Worstgen
  3. Comparisons with other characters
    • Zoro is often mentioned in relation to Luffy, Sanji, Kaido, etc. He seems to occupy a central node in power-scaling, fight potential, and character responsibility debates. Worstgen+2Worstgen+2
  4. Visibility and popularity
    • Many polls and “favorite character” threads discuss Zoro either winning or narrowly losing (especially vs Luffy), and his fans are very vocal. Worstgen+2Worstgen+2

So while many characters are discussed (Luffy, Sanji, etc.), Zoro seems to generate the most frequent and most heated discussions.

If you want, I can try to see whether that is still the case recently (last few months) to see if another character has overtaken him. Do you want me to check that?

Why are you so pathetic that you try to make fake ai slop posts to hype up kaido? Is kaido that trash even in your own eyes?

My minor observations about 1160:

1. The first panel and immediately something interesting - is it just me or does it look like someone threw an axe with robot arms attached to it?

2. I honestly didn't realize these crates were so big - they could put Kuma in there easy. For a moment i thought it might be an oversight with the scale, but on the other panels they don't look any smaller.

3. Gunko is actively involved in murdering the island's inhabitants - this is MADNESS- remember how before the flashback started - Oda made it clear to us that Gunko is somehow connected to Brook?

It is clearly visible that her "arrows" pierce the heart area.
With all this in mind, i can't wait to see what Oda has in store for these two - Brook is our beloved funny "show me your pants" skeleton - and Gunko is a cold-blooded murderer. This can't be a simple reconciliation.

Also i know i sound like a broken record, but i'll say it again - Gunko fruit is one of the most over the top, crazy, bonkers fruit out there.

4, 5, 6, 7.

All these points will be connected - because they all refer to the God's Knights.

- the monster from the back looks like a Dragonite - pokemon - many people will surely notice that it has wings - but the most interesting thing is that i don't think we've seen anything like this before.

- tall woman with a cigar - i'm 100% convinced she has some kind of Zoan devil fruit - her body looks like she's half animal already - pointy teeth - disproportionately long limbs - there must be something to it

- skull and a scythe - it will be funny when it turns out that it is not a mask.,

- and the best one for the end - a woman with a rose in her hair - she's standing right behind the leader - the fact that she looks like a normal woman makes me think that she's going to be someone really important to the plot - maybe related to someone interesting.

I also hope that all Celestial Dragons will die in agony and burn in hell.

Hi

any tragic backstory fans

This was one of many moments that absolutely made me hate Wano and Oden. LOda was so obsessed with jerking off Oden and his homeland so much that it came at the cost of downplaying everything else. And he had Luffy do this exact same bullshit too during Jinbei and Shirahoshi's flashbacks. But Oden gets a pass because fuck it. He even had Oden go and highjack the first major Roger flashback too.

It's stuff like that that made me convinced that Oden's existence and Wano's excess of useless characters were part of a manga idea he never had a chance to make due to dedicating too much of his time on OP. Much like that giant mecha manga he said he wanted to do once but couldn't because of his investment in OP.

1. The first panel and immediately something interesting - is it just me or does it look like someone threw an axe with robot arms attached to it?
I think it's decorative rope like things often seen on katana hilts
2. I honestly didn't realize these crates were so big - they could put Kuma in there easy. For a moment i thought it might be an oversight with the scale, but on the other panels they don't look any smaller.
Oda is a retard when it comes to sizes and scales
3. Gunko is actively involved in murdering the island's inhabitants - this is MADNESS- remember how before the flashback started - Oda made it clear to us that Gunko is somehow connected to Brook?
Gunko is most likely brainwashed
- the monster from the back looks like a Dragonite - pokemon - many people will surely notice that it has wings - but the most interesting thing is that i don't think we've seen anything like this before.
Keep it away from @Mr. Reloaded
- tall woman with a cigar - i'm 100% convinced she has some kind of Zoan devil fruit - her body looks like she's half animal already - pointy teeth - disproportionately long limbs - there must be something to it
She's prolly related to killingham
- skull and a scythe - it will be funny when it turns out that it is not a mask.,
nah it's a mask 100%
- and the best one for the end - a woman with a rose in her hair - she's standing right behind the leader - the fact that she looks like a normal woman makes me think that she's going to be someone really important to the plot - maybe related to someone interesting.
It's curious that the gas mask person is missing from that panel
