Versus Battle Kaidou VS Konoha 11

Light speed and country level DC are handed out like candy by powerscalers of all communities, though OP fanboys are particularly bad about it. I don’t think people realize just how fucking fast light is, or how big your average country is.

Even as a big OPM fan, I wouldn’t put someone like Flashy Flash or even Monster Garou and Platinum Sperm at light speed. Also, even if a mangaka explicitly calls their characters “light speed,” it really doesn’t matter if the feats don’t back it up, because most mangaka probably don’t understand how fast light truly is and are just being hyperbolic to hype up their characters. A mangaka’s opinion holds no weight in crossverse battles. To call a character light speed, you need a feat of them traveling from point A to point B in an amount of time (if not explicitly stated) that can be reasonably assumed to be short enough that they’re moving at light speed. For example, a character going from Earth to the Moon in an amount of time that is clearly no more than a few seconds would be a light speed feat

And anyway no one is actually fighting at that speed. Kizaru blitzed the shit out of Luffy, and then later perception blitzed everyone on the island. This is exclusive to him when he's at top speed only, One Piece characters aren't keeping up.

Tbh I’m kinda skeptical about even saying Kizaru is actually light speed since his light already deviates significantly from real-world light in its properties (his lasers and Pacifista lasers are more like plasma than they are light), but yeah Kizaru would be an outlier regardless. Kinda like how WB is an outlier when it comes to sheer AoE

A lot of the talk so far has been about war arc Naruto and Sasuke who obviously win with help, but what do you guys think about round 2, the pain arc K11?
First of all, I´m curious, is Sasuke included in rounds 2 and 3 anyway? He isn´t part of the k11, which is the 4 teams without Sasuke

If we don´t count Sasuke´s MS stuff and lightning/fire Jutsu, how does the k11 even damage Kaido? We know start of Wano g4 Luffy couldn´t, and he was esentially shrugging off mountain level Law and Zoro´s attacks, and I don´t think sage mode Naruto was really above that in AP. For the rest of them, Ino and Shika could try their hax on Kaido, but if he does use FS, there´s basically no way they can hit him.

And knowing Kaido can one shot g4 Luffy(a bit inconsistent, but he usually is able to put down high tier level characters down pretty easily) is there any reason to think any of them can tank a TB? I don´t see how they win or push Kaido high diff unless Naruto uses the nine tails, which he couldn´t control by the pain arc.

Kaido has no way to remove Amaterasu from him, so even if you believe Amaterasu would only do low DoT damage to him, it still puts him on a time limit before it’ll eventually drain his AP.

Isn’t Rasengan supposed to do internal damage? I guess Naruto can damage him somewhat if that’s the case

I dont disagree that Sasuke´s fire power is insane and can pose a legtimate threat to Kaido, but honestly, if Kaido uses FS and takes him seriously from the start, I don´t see him losing. On a pure stat basis, Kaido is just built different. You can see that in purely cqc, Sasuke stood no real chance against bee or Ayy really(which is why he needed to use Susano and Ameratsu). I think it would be similar to Law or Zoro, cant Kaido just blitz and kill him?

I am a little unconvinced by Amaterasu tbh. In Naruto itself, it´s a bit of meme. It never really kills anyone, gets blocked by Gaara´s sand, Sasuke´s flames etc and if Kaido has FS, he could probably avoid it, his own flames could block it. I kind of struggle to see him dying from just that, I mean, oden wasn´t even killed from 1 hour of being boiled alive, and we know Kaido has had like, multiple execution attempts.

In character, I would be okay with the idea of Itachi putting Kaido down because he´s a cocky retard who likes to tank stuff, but Sasuke? The thing is, Sasuke is a cocky retard himself, who would likely try going CQC, where he stands no chance.

And yeah, it does. But obviously Neji´s AP isn´t enough, and tbh even if it was 100 percent BS, if Neji goes down from base Naruto´s punches, Kaido could genuinely just sneeze and put him down, lmao.

@Shiroyru ngl, while I agree with you that OP top tiers are the weakest of the HST and when you have shit like some movie where they cut the moon and whatever you have in Boruto, but for the like high tiers, OP is kind of superior outside of crazy hax shit. Outside of the main three dojutsu users, I struggle to see anyone in the Akatsuki really beating characters like Jack, Cracker, Doffy and Katakuri, and keep in mind, the k11 without Sasuke, are all like, tiers below the Akatsuki in 1v1 fights, and even Sasuke is only winning because of plot BS sometimes. To show just how big the gap is, Sasuke was about to kill team 7 before *Orochimaru* had to step in to save him, and that Naruto was probably one of the strongest of the k11 lmfao

I don´t think he could ever control the nine tails, before the post 5 kage summit. Before that, he could summon some of it´s chakara, but control? Nah.

I don´t think this is related to any ability Naruto had, it´s part of the weird seal situation he had. Over time he grows more unstable. The only way to control a tailed beast is
Sharingan
Or befriending it.

R2 - Depends whether kyubi comes out or not. This round is basically nine tails vs Kaido. Amaterasu will get dodged by Kaido thanks to FS plus OP characters are much faster on average.

R3 - Kaido loses.
