you should watch it, the high ratings are more than deserved
it's like The Dangers in My Heart. a shounen romance that I like more than the other candidates
it looks pleasant, the characters are well written and it moves the viewer with tension and diabetes
for me it's the strongest anime of the season alongside CotN, and maybe the second strongest anime of the year after Cinderella Gray
I will wait for CotN and FraFlo to end before I fully judge that tho

Fragrant Flower is objectively a masterpiece for sure, it achieves everything that a masterpiece is achieving.
But I can see for sure that subjectively it won't be peak for everyone. For some people it's maybe "too sweet" or some people simply don't like shounen romances.
For me, for the average connoisseur, it is easily peak 10/10, it has 1 or 2 competitions for me, but for me it lacks nothing for what it is.

All I know is that I'm happy that summer season is ending.
I got myself watching too many anime and couldn't catch up to them all like Dr. Stone and bunny girl senpai.
Now in Fall I'll just watch fewer from the season and watch things like those two mentioned above and others like the 7th prince, the one with 6 eps (forgot the name xd) and so on

Tsuyokute New saga just finished and although it was nothing heartbreaking I enjoyed watching it.
No OP MC, no isekai, just a simple fantasy anime eith a group of adventurers which is pretty nice.
A shame it didn't get a S2 announced because that felt more like a prologue than anything. Since the LN finished 10 years ago I'm not expecting a new season to be announced unfortunately.
