Nobody whined about how the Straw Hats were hogging the spotlight in Pre Timeskip.

Besides, the main issue isn’t characters having too much screentime or not, its the fact that the PLOT CANNOT PROGRESS unless there’s only a handful of relevant characters at play not 1 million side characters doing unimportant jackshit.

If this story focused only on Luffy and Robin for example, the journey to Laugh Tale would be much faster, we’d probably be there by chapter 500 now.

But Oda doesn’t like this. He wants to drag this shitshow for as long as possible by shoving 999 new useless characters every single arc.

Tl;dr Mid Piece will get cash milked to death until 2050 enjoy

I wasn't a fan of OP until 2021 so I didn't see this for my self but I hear a lot of people thought Bobbin was him because of his bounty and stuff like him being said to have destroyed multiple towns by setting them ablaze (although this was later shown to be a casual Numbers feat...)
Apparently a select few even believed he was Big Mom's RHM and/or a Sanji opponent. I guess in a way he was still a Sanji opponent..
