Imho, the only one who legit Is a top tier is Shamrock (who Is also Sabo's EoS fight, I think). Shanks' twin, not much to say on this: he's clearly a top tier.

Gunko Is only of we take Imu into account. If not, the reaction to (old) Gaban showed she wasn't even close.

The rest are all vastly inferior since, as said, at best their strongest memeber Is going to fight EoS Jinbe.

Garling and Shamrock are that strong becuase they are related to Shanks. The are the HK equivalente of Garp among VAs.

To have top tiers/near top tiers, one have to look at the Gorosei.

Right?! It always bothered me how much Luffy cares so little for not having parents present in his life and never talks about them, but I guess most characters do the same tbf? But it's weird to be nearly 30 years into a series and still not know who his mother is and why him, Dragon and Garp have such an extremely strained relationship, almost non existent to one another. Well we know more why now especially ofc but still.

I really suspect a typical sad backstory for Luffy's mother when the time comes, we know Oda CAN'T resist killing off another mother tragically for his blatant mommy issues!

I love how we have the ultimate schrodinger situation too with his mother, where almost everybody is luffy's mother according to us in the fandom but yet nobody is either ofc!
