Aokiji's freezing power is only useful if he can freeze his opponent, immobilize them, or freeze them to the bone and apply physical force to break them. Freezing the entire island doesn't help him at all here, since he can't manipulate that ice — after all, he doesn't have awakening.
Regardless of the role he may take on later, whether he decides to stay or not is irrelevant to what we have now — right now, he is defined as a subordinate of an emperor, not even considered an ally, but a subordinate.
Well, does the mere fact that Shiryu didn’t stab Garp in the head while he was lying on the ground mean he didn’t want to kill him either? Garp was left defenseless > fell to the ground > was immobilized by Aokiji > what to do with Garp after that is up to Blackbeard to decide. That’s a pretty weak argument of yours.
Another nonsensical point — whether he defeated Garp quickly or slowly has no correlation whatsoever with raising suspicion, just like Garp showing up in Hachinosu has no correlation with Aokiji. He was there for Koby.

These guys are happy that prime Kuzan managed to match an Acoc attack from an elderly Garp — the same Garp who, the moment he stepped on the island and used an attack, started whining about how much his power had diminished. That says a lot about how low their standards are. Kuzan should be dominating Garp here, not just matching him. This is an L in every possible way, no matter how much someone tries to spin it — and of course, a W for Warp.
Prime Garp wouldn’t be matched by Old Garp — Prime Garp would dominate Old Garp. Kuzan didn’t dominate Old Garp, which clearly tells us that Kuzan doesn’t even come close to Prime Garp.
