The fight isn’t as simple as Marco flames > King’s, given King was using speed mode and fire projectiles and was pushing Marco backwards. And Marco blocked, not smothered, Andon from King. And when he prepared a follow up attack alongside Queen he was using fire again.

I seen the panels but the context is that he is about to attack with Queen together in that panel, who clearly goes for a distance attack and stands further back and he also makes no inclanation to go near him to punch him
IDK seems like a unshown ranged attack to me
