Huh, it's almost like God Valley was first mentioned by a guy who wasn't even there, already biased, and wouldn't question the "official" story or something.
To be fair I always thought it wasn't just about him knowing of Imu but also about him knowing of the grimoire Imu possesses. He specifically says he knows of the "treasure of Mariejois", not the "true ruler of Mariejois/the world".
That would be cool. I have always thought it was just Imu, whose existence anyway is clearly portrayed as a big secret because all the WG is based on the "there is no king of the world lie".
You know, for a forum who has a lot of people who complain Oda has to hold people's hand with his storytelling, the flashback where he twists the previous expectation of things, those people sure complain about that, too.
