I don't buy into Garp having a parallel. If anything, I think Smoker reminds me more of Sengoku and Fujitora. Whatever it is, I find his dynamic with Luffy much more interesting than Koby.

This is the last chapter of October.
We're getting 4 more in November, and 2 in December before the Christmas/New Year hiatus.
That means, 7 more chapters in 2025 if Oda doesn't take another break by end of November, in which case we're 6 chapters away from 2026.
I don't expect the fight against GunkIMU to even begin before Valentine's Day.
