Agenda wise, this is unironically the optimal way Oda can take Xebec away from the story instead of having Imu outright demolish him in an actual back and forth 1v1.

• He cuts Imu apart, unlimited regeneration kicks in
• Tanks the single attack aimed at him but is affected by its no limit fallacy hax due to lack of knowledge
• Will presumably take a gauntlet to bring down and likely waste strength trying to break through the mind control

People need to stop with the "hax" allegations, when it's just Imu's signature ability befitting of the king of the world.
