It was fucking awful. I was saying post-skip was off before the Strawhats had even reunited. Fishman Island proved to be fucking awful, and has only aged worse. Punk Hazard was okay and has actually aged for the better, but Dressrosa was downright trash and I only hate it more with time.

Post-skip didn't pick up for me until Zou due to the revelations around the Poneglyph, Wano, etc. WCI was uneven, but Oda certainly set up a lot of interesting concepts, even if he didn't deliver on most of them. Wano was a colossal disappointed, but it had its moments.

I've never stopped reading One Piece weekly, but my appreciation for its weekly offerings definitely waned for the vast majority of post-skip.

Egghead was fucking fantastic though, it’s the first post-skip arc for me that could stand equal to pre-skip. Elbaph also started off amazingly strong. The God Valley Incident has been a massive disappointment in execution so far, but it speaks to the strength of the arc as a whole that I still have a ton of confidence in it until its conclusion.

FI is one of my most disliked arc, Punk hazard is utterly boring, carried by bringing Law, as the only interesting bit.

Dressrosa is good in one go.

Eh, WCI really wasn’t that bad tbh. It was pretty good up until the last third, and even then that last third had one of the best fights in the series

WCI was enjoyable, cool designs, cool abilities but contains some of the worst writing the story has ever seen. Only Wano managed to go lower.

I'd rather revisit WCI than FI for example, but before Oden, the whole germa storyline and Sanji was Oda's lowest point as a writer.

Yeah the Sanji stuff was mid, but Oda made up for it by making the best SH the MVP of the arc
