Wasn't the walls created so that they don't die from Wano submerging?
Oden said that Wano country closed to protect it from an outside power, though we don´t know for a fact that it was the government, but there´s not many other options. The sinking was done by the government anyway though, So Wano is still the country on the defensive here.
Considering the Navy was wary of the Samurai, it is not that far-fetched to say that Ryuma fought the actual WG regardless of Imu being present or not.
The Navy is wary of the Samurai as an unknown military force, not out of some historical loss. If that were true, we would have to assume the navy remembers fighting the Samurai, but Wano country doesn´t for some reason, since Oden was shocked when WB told him the navy was even a thing.

Battle arc in the cover story? Cover stories are buildup. Be glad we even get them, other manga don't have cover stories.
No, I wanted Yamato's Cover Series to be Act 3.5, and set up Pluton/Ancient Wano.

Act 4 should be it's own arc, like hell I want the battle arc in a cover story, that would suck.

Pluton needs a full arc.

We'll return to Wano, that's obvious
Oda said in the SBS to look out for Yamato. Her story is not over
Yeah, the question is when/who shows up in Wano for Pluton.

I can still see a Straw Hat split up, with an Usopp group staying in Elbaph and Usopp having his own Elbaph adventures. IMO, whenever Teach shows up, the Straw Hats will show up after, but, I think the WG will get there, first, since V. Nusjuro should be able to use the Abyss to invade the country. Once the WG uses the Abyss to invade Wano, tho, Wano will know they have that power, so it has to be a decisive strike.

We'll see if Elbaph does have time distortion like a lot of people think it does, there's a chance most of the Holy Land is just gone by the time Imu goes back to Marijoa.

There's a good chance the war for Pluton becomes a drawn out engagement, and that a lot of fighting will go on before Teach/WG/possibly Cross Guild before the Straw Hats show up.

I doubt any SHs are having any solo adventures for the sake of adventuring. We're too late in the story.
I think the final war will be multi polar and take place in different locations. It won't be an isolated 1 faction vs another faction in the final chapters.

Zoro still needs to get Kaido before Imu, gotta do things in the proper order.

Yeah, Final War will be all over the place. Really hoping Pluton is dealt with before the Straw Hats go to Lodestar.

Considering Teach likes seizing his chances, I think he'll move on Pluton as soon as he has the force to do so.

We should also see Imu in Wano, obviously, they carved the Poneglyphs, and Lili helped scatter them.

I do hope Oda keeps the gv fb's pacing foe the.remainder of the story. That way he might not have to omit information

Once it's revealed Imu is a Demon Lord/King of Demons, it will foreshadow Zoro killing Imu, as Zoro has stated he will be King of Hell.

Well, if Imu IS the King of Hell, then, guess what?

Luffy will beat Imu, but Zoro will kill him.

Huh.

Why does this feel so familiar, like we already did this with another character? Some drunk dragon?

Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Zoro Kills Imu EOS, book it.
If an Old Gaban can sever Sommers' arm and impede his regeneration, I imagine that the astonishing Grandmaster Zoro can at least currently do that to a top Gorosei while using his best ACoC strike, and EoS Zoro shall do that to Imu, hopefully hitting the head, unless Imu is an alien who won't die from a missing head.
