Where was it stated by Oda that different users can use fruits in unique ways?

I know it was stated by him somewhere but I’ve forgotten where.

anyway, it’s kinda lame that literally no single DF user has ever done this. Sabo does fire fists, the old man crosses his fingers the same way as Bartolommeo to make barriers, ganzui does booger bombs yet any part of his body can explode, Captain John makes metal fists out of trash too

One of the main things I was looking forward to with the Joyboy flashback was seeing different uses of the gum gum fruit but that’s the unlikely now, Oda even introduced the idea that to awaken it your mind has to be in tune to with the DF somehow meaning Joyboy and Luffy have to be similar in personality somehow so we will get the same gag shenanigans with G5 and same gum gum pistols.

S-Shark doesn't Fight like Senor Pink
S-Hawk doesn't Fight like Daz Bonez
Shiryu doesn't Fight like Absalom
Carmel wasn't a Fighter like Big Mom
Sabo combines his DF with Ryusoken unlike Ace
WB combine his DF with his Weapon & also add CoC, unlike Blackbeard
Nothing suggests John fights similar to Kid (Metal Arm doesn't define your Fighting Style)

As for Bartolomeo, those Hand Signs were explained by him & that Old Guy didn't Fight like Bartolomeo who tried to Copy Luffy,
There is no way that guy uses Bari Bari No Pistol lol

As for Ganzui, He also doesn't Fight like Mr. 5 (For example, He was seen with a Sword against Gaban, while Mr. 5 uses a Gun),
And for Ranged Attack, there is nothing better to shoot than their Booger, because as you said, their Bodies explodes, They can't create Bombs themselves, so They have to shoot a part of their body, and Booger is best & easiest option,

I’m pretty sure every single example you mentioned is wrong

every single character uses the fruit the exact same way

I didn’t say that the character don’t have different other abilities, I’m saying the actual df abilities are used the exact same way

Momo being a kid is excusable

what’s not excusable is everyone else with years of combat experience somehow ending up with the exact same abilities

for example what does Sabo do fire fists? He doesn’t even use punches in his regular fighting style, Why doesn’t his “pipe skills” after how his df works? Why doesn’t he shoot out “fire bars” from swinging his pipe?

See what I mean?

Pretty sure it was Crocodile saying something about people being able to master their DFs.

Nah I swear it was outside of the manga. Like in an SBS or interview or something directly from Oda

Oda was talking about how another character having a previous df would mean we would see them use it differently. Something like that.
