I doubt shanks had any powers from Imu but it is funny that this means Teach was either at Mariejoa when he scarred shanks or teach scarred shanks and he instantly said “imma join the WG”

So Shanks rat allegations are officially disproven once again. It got disproven when Shamrock was introduced but even then, this is the final nail in the coffin for the copers. Shanks is the enemy of the government and it’s obvious Oda didn’t want to make his golden boy look bad.

Kinda sad cause it’d have added a new layer to his character but whatever. This is decent writing.
