ConquistadoR

The Rogue Prince
You gotta try sending ~1,000 applications (sadly that's become the norm), before giving up and either switching jobs or moving. Also get your resume critiqued by other people and see what works/doesn't.

But yeah job market is becoming shittier and shittier, especially for younger people.
Yeah, its insane.
Most job boards are just scams at this point, unless you have references inside the company to place your resume at the top of the stack... youre not getting an interview.

That's probably why he dumbed down the Gorosei, specifically Saturn. Before the Gorosei felt more sophisticated and intelligent than the other CDs, but eventually they turned into a far more powerful and less lustful Charlos. They're just comically evil and bland, for the most part
Tbf There Are Dozens of celestial Dragons
For example shamrok is more elegant than charlos

Oda had no reason to not let him defeat Vergo, but he just made Vergo too strong for whatever reason. Back then I guess the underling tax didn't kick in, Vergo was moving like a demon. Big picture it just didn't make sense to not sacrifice Vergo for Smoker and cook something else for Law. That was Smoker's fight, he already got put down by Law but you could atleast say Law is too hax, whereas with Vergo he just couldn't overpower him.
The entire point was that Smoker COULD have won, but he sacrificed his pride and ego to help Law out instead (which also, in turn, helped Smoker survive too). Him winning the fight would miss the entire point.

Elder Lee Hung

Conqueror of the Stars
@ZenZu @Elder Lee Hung @SakazOuki @MarineHQ

Honestly, what even happened to Smoker as a character? There’s no way that Oda always intended for him to be as irrelevant as he ended up being. He’s not even as relevant to the new gen as Sengoku was to the old gen
Smoker doesn’t need to be some world famous figure, in fact he’s better just as a Navy badass who is pursuing his own agenda. Not everyone has to be some world renowned figure.

I see the word vergo, I instantly skip the post without reading
