Why would he steal it, go through the abyss (which we know can reach Mariejoie) and then give it to CP0, that makes absolutely no sense.

Why would CP transport it across sea in the first place when the WG can send a single HK to where the DF is being kept, then summon IMU to do with it whatever the fuck IMU wants to? The transport of the Gomu Gomu has never made sense to me.

This is my guess: The day Harald died was the day he was going to get a full promotion into being a Holy Knight. But whoever was there to do so saw things like the library and school and ordered Harald to dismantle them, as they only want Elbaf to be warlike and stupid. Harald refused, and he was DR'd through his Mark. Ostensibly to force him to destroy them with his own hands.

Loki stumbles onto it and is forced to kill him, but with the old giant getting amnesia via the sword in his head and to save his father's reputation and honor, he plays the villain.

One of the HKs mentioned they can’t transport non abyss people through the portal so since DFs have souls they prob can’t be transported that way either. I assume there were some CP9 or CP8 agents there to help with retrieving the DF
