Tbh the last 4 Episodes have been some of the best episodes in the series as far as adaptation accuracy and pacing. It’s a shame One Piece wasn’t always like this. But getting better as you get older is always a good thing. This Arc has been great in the Anime.

While you could definitely argue about the strength of the content being adapted, I think that Egghead has really proven itself to be more consistent with its stand out episodes that Wano has.

The environment for animators in the production seems to be continuing to grow and improve.

Shout out to Tu Yong Ce.

Its hard to believe he went from being a 2nd key animator during Dressrosa, became a key animator on DBS, became a workhorse for the anime during WCI and early Wano, before moving up to become animation supervisor and later chief animation director in later Wano and egghead.

The strength of his key animation has never been stronger. He has become fully Akihiro Ota pilled, while still retaining the thick inky, impactful key frames that has defined most of his work.

In this episode, he handled the big finisher on Saturn.
