But by looking at the cover I just looked up on Google it looks really boring

Expedition 33 winning GOTY is no surprise to me, but I feel like they could have given best indie to Silksong or Hades II instead. I suppose E33 is technically an indie game,b ut it had much bigger budget and teams behind it.

same with art design

The only argument against e33 being indie is having less than 10M budget ( so assuming 8-9 )
Which most of it went to great VA's they hired im sure
Hades 2 had 15m budget lol
