Theory The One Piece Creates an Eternal Kingdom

#1
It does this by restoring the ancient kingdom itself. The Will of D is meant to be carried by king candidates who will rule it. Therefore, as long as the Will of D and the One Piece exist, the ancient kingdom can be restored with a king who can use the Will of D to promote an ancient culture.
- The Will of D can't be destroyed.
- The One Piece can't be found.
- Both are being used to keep the ancient kingdom coming back repeatedly whenever it is destroyed. Therefore, the ancient kingdom can be referred to as an eternal kingdom since it is always expected to return after it has been seemingly wiped out.

Although I am certain this is what the One Piece is, I am also certain that it can't ever be activated. The ancient kingdom coming back is a problem from a narrative standpoint because superior ability breeds superior ambition.

Does that make sense?

- That superior ambition element can go two ways, and that's exactly why we have a dichotomous relationship with Luffy and Blackbeard. Blackbeard's ambition is to rule the world, and that is something nobody was ever supposed to do because absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.

- Luffy also has no intention of "ruling" anybody evidenced by his attitude toward the Grand Fleet. That's how Blackbeard and Luffy fit into all this. Beyond this, Luffy has also stated he doesn't care about the past, and this shows mindfulness as a trait of his. He lives in the moment. He doesn't care about the war of the void century. Blackbeard, however, does because he is actually hoping to fulfill an ancient promise.
