The usual suspects trusting their lives into a flavour text from who knows who - surely not the author - even when the same flavour text has things like Kaido > anyone else in history or Holy Knights > Admirals
... and when the same flavour text from same source says that Zoro's Dragon Damnation is a level above Sanji's Ifrit Jambe (Zoro’s attack is called a “Supreme Technique”, Sanji’s attack is just called a “Great Technique”)
Yeah it's THE SAME OP MAGAZINE, just a different release of the publication
So how can they say they are equals when they also literally say that one has stronger moves than the other? Says a lot of how reliable the source lmao
And of course suddenly forgetting and ignoring the many MANGA STATEMENTS about Zoro being the established N2, also the several databook statements about Zoro = Luffy, the databook rankings about Sanji < Zoro = Luffy, the Luffy vs Zoro serious fight
Not to mention the blatant gap in feats and powers
I mean Zoro was clearly portrayed as much stronger than Sanji throughout all Post TS before Onigashima, that's something 99% people agree on
Then Zoro gets THE SAME POWER UP AS LUFFY, Adv CoC the power that Kaido describes as the trump card of the very strongest
Sanji gets a personal gimmick, with a speed buff a durability buff and an attacking power buff; are we to believe that was better than Adv CoC, even to the point of bridging the established gap?
If that were true, considering that Adv CoC was good enough to bring Luffy from low diff material for Kaido to solid high diff
Do someone dare to argue that not getting Adv CoC but instead an exoskeleton - that even YC2 Queen could damage - and a generic power boost - that still needed 48489925 named moves to ko YC2 Queen - would have been better for Luffy?
Spoiler:
That's factually impossible, considering that King > Queen and Post Power Up Zoro beat King easier and more overwhelmingly than how Post Power Up Sanji beat Queen
