The research doesn’t fully matter because Oda takes creative liberties with almost every fruit imaginable

For example, Orochi’s fruit the Yamata no Orochi pretty much doesn’t do anything that it does in Japanese mythology. It actually isn’t similar to it at all besides the design

It’s ability is taken from the Hydra (Greek mythology, literally completely different)

Just like how you wouldn’t assume the wax fruit is able to make wax constructs as tough as steel that can block poison dragons

You can’t really predict how strong a fruit will be or what it can do (fully) before we see someone use it

Some depictions have his zoan with a horns or a tusk from his head some not. Kinda hope Oda adds it, might look dope on Loki's transformarion with his ancient giant horns to boot

Also, on another note, we already have enough from the dog/human mythicals (Luffy, Onimaru, Devon, Yamato), kinda glad Loki has a strong change tbh in that direction tbh. Fenrir and Fire Giant are dope and all but let's change things up a bit since we already have same shit twice at a certain point it becomes redundant

Yeah, I wonder why, doesn't seem to make much sense to me unless it's powers maybe ties to the gigantic ygdrassil tree of Elbalph? Idk I am just spitballing trying to make sense of why Xebec thought the fruit would achieve it's max potential if Harald were to eat it. And he specifically looked for that fruit too. Things don't seem to make too much sense right now

The running theory right now (at least before Loki was a squirrel lol) was Surtr or like a huge Fenrir hybrid that allowed him to wield the sword lodged into the tree

But obviously that's out of the window and wouldn't make much sense anyway since he has Ragnir

Idk what Oda would give him as additional powers since can't find shit as something that could classify as superpower. AI search dug up a part that it could cause rifts but idk how Oda would fit it in the verse, sounds a bit too op.

Or maybe he can, by interacting with Imu's abyss powers
