Somehow all the eevees that I came across are not skittish and instead they attack me.

My worst encounter was dratini and it took so many tried to catch it. I was also quite low level at that time.

Fennekin and froakie too.

Quick balls helped a lot and ofc the backstrike and saving the game before the encounter.

Oh yeah, getting them to engage was easy enough, but they just kept breaking Ultra Ball after Ultra Ball and it was driving me up a wall…but in the time between my earlier post and now, I managed to get those remaining two-thirds of the OG Kalos starter trio!! Only thing I have left is Squirtle, then I’ll have 100 percent cleared all zones

I finally got Fennekin, but even with the backshot (managed to fire off two in one try) this tenacious fucking frog still eludes me

it took 6 weeks for me to catch one in the wild that wasn't guaranteed outside of the early side quests

beldum is way worse though by a long shot and took me 80+ resets to actually catch my 1st one to register in the pokedex

Beat the main game but haven’t caught the legendaries, trying to complete the rest of the Pokedex first…I will definitely be getting the DLC after I get the Shiny Charm I don’t normally do online battles, have you given them a try?

One advice would be get the DLC before getting the shiny charm because without the DLC, one of the Mable research tasks is too cursed that you'd cuss the entire humanity to have come up with such a idea to punish us.

Unfortunately I didn't know that time DLC would make it easier so I did the grind, cursed everyone, questioned my sanity and existence and completed that darn arduous task.

I am also not much of a battling fanatic, but I tried. It's not that bad honestly. It's easy to get used to it. I also did it to get the limited edition mega stones that are only available by doing so.

The task that I am referring to is beating 1k trainers. So, even tho you caught every single pokemon, got every single mega stone, that task needs to be done. But DLC adds some additional tasks which you can complete to get the extra points needed to get the charm. But some peeps have been able to complete the 1k battles overnight using a pre-programmed turbo macro controller by beating those mindless NPCs at the cafes over and over so if you have one lying around, it won't be a biggie for you.

Oh, that one! I’ve been aware of that task for a while, but I’ve just been racking up wins in the Battle Zones and getting my lower level team members some good experience…didn’t know about the cafe battles so I might switch to those, but I think I’m a hair shy of 500 right now, it hasn’t been as bad as I originally expected Still, if the DLC has other tasks I can use towards getting that charm, that makes more sense to do…as always, my dear Kags, your guidance is much appreciated

yeah it took me 15 straight hours to get from 500 wins to 1000 wins for the final Mable task pre-DLC, not fun but not impossible either

I kept getting my ass kicked in Ranked PvP until I started using Mega Steelix, and battles have gotten much easier for me since I have something that can tank and deal massive dmg. Have been able to get the Mega Stone rewards within 1-2 battles now the last 3 Ranked Seasons instead of 80-85 in the 1st Season of Ranked when I kept getting last place

there's too much to do in the DLC. I went out of my way the 1st 100 hrs to clear up all the 130 side quests before finishing the main story but the DLC (Mega Dimension) added 70+ new side missions in addition to all of the dlc quests which may arguably be longer than the main story itself

I cannot get Galarian Farfetch to spawn for the life of me. Who thought giving the player no control over what hyperspace portals you get was a good idea?

At least with Scarlet and Violet, you had sandwiches and time travel exploits. Here you have nothing

I had no issue finding them and I'm sure they will turn up after a bunch of resetting. The only ones that gave me trouble were - hisuian qwilfish and INDEEDEE!

I kept using barb barrage on normal qwilfish and wondering why the fuck it's not evolving.

Indeedee is so rare so make sure to grab one as soon as you spot it.

Wow, you are lucky you got indeedee so easily. I saw so many ppl complaining how rare Indeedeee is on reddit.

There is a quest regarding farfetched too. You'll need a high level, super strong one.

Don't evolve it until you complete that quest.

I just have been using one single team combo of my chad alpha Excadrill, Delphox and Clefable. I even went up to rank A last season.

I might do some tweaking this season to try some new combos so let's see how it goes.

I actually ran into a 3 star area with 4-5 indeedees around, fortunately i saved before i started trying to catch them because man they are a pain in the ass to catch, only surpassed by Beldum. Only managed to get 1 female after 20 resets and by the time i finally got 1, the timer ran out

Hisuian Qwilfish wasn't too bad once I got a hyperspace zone with one and I saved to make sure I could get 3-4. It was a personal favorite of mine in Legends Arceus as Overqwil on my main team and it carried me for Volo and other boss fights along with Ursaluna (my favorite big bear <3)
