A. A Wano scenario where there was lots of people fighting each other and Shanks exhausted himself fighting Loki

B. Shanks backstabbed Loki/got someone else to do it for him.

C. Loki allowed himself to be beaten out of secret internal self loathing (mental nerf)

I’m really hoping he either lost on purpose or got jumped

Or even if he lost (which is fine) at least imply that it was an incredibly tough fight

Cause someone with a bag as deep as Loki losing badly because of “muh haki” is just so silly to me

Hopefully with added context it makes more sense

We really don't know how it went down though

If I'm not mistaken, vega talked about the technology of the lost century . I think there was a more advanced civilization 800 years ago and it was Vega who modeled it after that civilization.

Even if you assume wifi haki can cancel DF powers (only shown clearly in the anime, still up in the air if that’s how Oda intended it) Loki has conqueror’s infusion himself

On paper he should be capable of resisting it
