Because there is a detail which fits well for Fenrir, but there is also a big detail which speaks against Fenrir and more for Nidhogg...
I was doing some research and 100 tons would be way too light for ragnir to weight that much it’d have to tens of thousands of tons.Unless Oda goes the mjolnir route then maybe
Nidhogg makes the most sense for Loki when it comes to mobility, he’s a threat to the world once unleashed
If he’s actually Fenrir, then Oda would have to draw him as big as Zou in order to cross oceans, would be pretty insane but unrealistic and requires too much effort
Yeah also makes more sense for a world destroying ability in terms of raw power- gigantic fire blasts + mural hype.
Fenrir would be strong, but outside of the norse mythology lore it does not give off that supreme being and cataclysmic threat vibe. what Oda clearly wants to go for with Loki and the fruit.
And a Nidhogg fruit also explains how he could leave or escape from Elbaf w/o any problem.
