Oda did handle the power creep very well till Wano tbf. The Kaido one shot ruined everything. And now the final saga is making it seem ten times worse.

The explanation is that you have to keep hitting the enemy with ACoC until he's unable to fight. It's a battle of attrition.
The Gorosei are clearly above the HKs. Most of them dont even have CoC, and we know for a fact, that the gorosei haki is strong af, and Warcury used a CoC blast.

And since Gaban just told luffy that his usage of ACoC is still crude, same to Zoro, who isn't even concious about it, it makes sense that they didnt do shit in Egghead.

It's not a "free pass". ACoC is just the minimum requirement in order to START being able to fight back against the immortality/regen shenanigan.

I mean sure but its essentially what we went through start of post time skip .

what makes it worse is that acoc unlike coa or coo cant be trained

A fucking weapon who can move on his own, is fucking stronger than most commanders.

Base Loki who posses adv CoC, had a extrem high diff fight with Ragnir, eat the fruit and got ragnir.
Meanwhile Shanks and Gaban together with 100 Giants, can´t beat Harald, Harald kills all giants in front of Gaban and Shanks.

Zoan Loki comes in and fights off Harald alone, deals massive damage to the CoC barrier which even Gaban and Shanks failed to do much...

Loki kills Harald...

Okay so just to be clear, base Loki now not only has a claim to being stronger than Harald outright, but also has claim to be directly as strong as Holy Knight Harald. Which matches the portrayal of them clashing last chapter.

^Remember when the usual suspects said that this wasn’t a CoC clash? Well now Loki shattered CoC armor Harald into pieces. Lol

Okay so base Loki ~ Holy Knight Harald is absolutely on the table now….but prime Gaban and prime Saint Shanks could not injure Harald at all? And Harald was also murdering dozens of giants while they watched helplessly??????

But Saint Shanks captured Woki, right? @TheD. @sanjikun anyone who still believes Saint Shanks could ever be stronger than base Loki probably believes everything the media tells them irl. Lol

And after Saint Shanks and Gaban fail to dent Harald while he murders dozens of giants, a rookie fruited Woki + Ragnir come in and shatter Harald straight up. LOL

There is a legitimate, high chance that Ragnir by itself is stronger than every Yonko and every Admiral (RIP). There is a chance that Loki’s hammer by itself can convincingly defeat Saint Shanks.

Alright so I’m going to start my work on a no-trolling, updated tier list. My thesis is that the term “top tier” is now obsolete as Elbaph (an arc themed around strength and the strongest) has introduced characters that clearly surpass the top tiers.

I propose the following tier system that better articulates the top tier and characters stronger than them.

“World’s Strongest” -> This would be characters who encompass the current “mid or even high top tier” like baseline Yonko such as Saint Shanks, baseline Admirals like Fujitora or Aokiji, etc.

Then you have “Era’s strongest” -> These are characters who surpass the strongest in the world, they are the strongest of an entire era. This would be peak top tiers like Primebeard, Roger, maybe Akainu…basically the standout top tiers.

Then you have “History’s Strongest” -> these are characters who are the strongest over a specific period of history or even all of known history like Ryuma, whoever the strongest Marine ever is (Wakazuki), maybe like Joy Boy, etc…

And lastly you have the true “God Tier”, which would be characters so strong they basically come to be worshipped as Gods like Imu, maybe Joy Boy, maybe Davy Jones, maybe others, etc……..

So when I first predicted that Loki would be “God Tier”, what I meant was that he would be the first character to far exceed the strength of the current top tiers. Now that Oda has more fleshed out this level of power, and now that I have had more time to look at this shit, I would retcon my original statement about Loki to say that he belongs in the “History’s Strongest” Tier. IE, far stronger than any of the current top tiers but not actually a literal God (I never thought he would be a literal God or literally unstoppable lol).

I think this works perfectly for Loki, as Loki will be the strongest giant in the history of Elbaph, he was born the son of maybe Elbaph’s strongest King and he ate the prophesied Devil Fruit and wields the prophesied weapon, etc…I think Loki fulfills multiple Elbaph prophesies so he is probably the strongest giant of all time.

If you would ask me, I think this is how Oda is really powerscaling his top tiers now that we are entering the era of One Piece where we are about to battle history itself.

The only thing this chapter proves is that HK harald is Yonko level max and DR Xebec is Pk level.

Since Oda said that Xebec, Garp & Roger were all youthful 44 years ago were and the other 2 peaked years alter after God Valley, we can say that Xebec died before peaking.

Loki is above HK Harald, Prime Gaban, Prime Ray but below or equal to Great Pirates
Definitely below Roger, WB and Kaido.

It already is! Oda has an advantage over Kishimoto since he introduced his final villain way sooner than Kishimoto. He's also placing the final war in several arcs instead of just one huge arc. That's something I also like about Oda handling his final saga.
