but roger and garp weren't in their prime

Issue with Shanks being above top tiers is that there's no reason for him to try to ambush Blackbeard instead of simply pulling out of on Hachinosu. It would just be bad writing. Shanks's character works better as a high top tier

I mean not this specific comment as I don't believe you believe he actually beat Loki fair but the whole sentiment behind the comment in general is stupid
So basically current Shanks got so much stronger than both his younger self as well as 50-60 something Gaban together that he can solo Loki despite losing an arm?

Base Loki is an entire tier above Roger and Primebeard.

Full power Loki is multiple tiers above them. Roger and Primebeard really aren’t shit, they are merely two of the seven rivals.
