In God Valley, Roger (uses sword) and Garp (non sword) fight Imu in Xebec's body
In Elbaf, Shanks (uses sword) and Gaban (non sword) fight mind controlled Harald
There seems to be a pattern where Imu fights 2 people (one of whom uses swords) and have CoC (obviously, to counter the immortality)

I'd say Luffy will fight Imu, since he's the MC. But, who will fight beside him? Well, we all know our favorite swordsman with CoC
